This Privacy Policy explains how Three Wheelz Mobility Rentals Private Limited ("ThreeWheelz", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the ThreeWheelz mobile app or website (together, the "Service"), whether you are a driver, a vehicle vendor, or an administrator. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information directly from you or automatically as you use the app:

• Phone number — used to send a one-time password (OTP) for login and identity verification, and to let vendors and drivers contact each other about a booking.
• Name and profile details — provided during signup, used to identify you within the app.
• Location data — collected from your device (with your permission) to set a vendor's vehicle pickup point, to show nearby available vehicles to drivers, and to track a rented vehicle's live location and geofence status for safety and fleet-management purposes. Location is not collected when the app is not in active use by a vendor setting up their profile or during an active rental.
• Photos and documents — a selfie and identity/vehicle documents you upload for verification purposes (e.g. driver or vendor onboarding), stored securely with our cloud storage provider.
• Payment information — booking and rental payments are processed directly by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials on our own servers; we only retain the transaction status and amount needed to confirm your booking.
• Vehicle and booking data — details of vehicles listed by vendors, and bookings made by drivers, needed to operate the rental marketplace.
• Push notification token — a device identifier issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used solely to deliver in-app notifications (such as booking updates and verification status) to your device.

How we use your information

• To verify your identity and log you into the app via OTP.
• To connect drivers with available vehicles and vendors near them.
• To process rental payments and vendor settlements.
• To track rented vehicles for safety, and to alert our team if a vehicle leaves an agreed service area (geofence breach).
• To verify driver and vendor identity documents during onboarding.
• To contact you about your account, a booking, or support requests.
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

Third-party services we use

We share the minimum necessary data with the following service providers, solely to operate the Service:

• MSG91 — sends OTP SMS messages to your phone number for login.
• Razorpay — processes payments and vendor payouts securely; ThreeWheelz never sees or stores your full payment credentials.
• Cloudinary — securely stores uploaded selfie and document images.
• Google Maps — powers location search, maps, and address display within the app.
• Fleettrack — provides GPS tracking data for rented vehicles.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivers in-app push notifications to your device.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Data retention

We retain your account, booking, and verification data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Data security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections, access-controlled databases, and trusted third-party processors — to protect your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at admin@threewheelz.in. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
